Fable III: Xbox One用の非線形アクションゲーム
Fable III, developed by Lionhead Studios, is an action game for Xbox One set in the fantasy kingdom of Albion. The game takes place fifty years after the events of Fable II, where the kingdom has undergone significant changes, including the introduction of new machines, factories, firearms, and a steampunk aesthetic. The Industrial Revolution is about to spark a revolution, as many people in the kingdom are unhappy with the changes and are plotting to overthrow the current king, who is also the main character's brother.
Unlike the previous game, the player starts as an aristocrat and must take action to save their homeland, leading to either a wise and just leadership or an evil tyrant. The game's plot is non-linear, and the player's actions and decisions can influence other characters' perception of them and the world in general. Social interactions with NPCs are simpler and more straightforward than in Fable II, where being nice to people can make them like or even fall in love with the player. However, engagement requires the completion of specific quests.
